Access to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre network
The Aboriginal Heritage Unit co-ordinates an annual New South Wales Cultural Centre Network workshop, which has been designed to achieve four core objectives.
- To supply information about services offered by various government departments and agencies specifically related to Aboriginal cultural heritage and Aboriginal cultural centres and keeping places.
- To raise awareness among representatives of various government departments and agencies of New South Wales Aboriginal cultural centres and keeping places and their needs.
- To support the development of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and Keeping Place Network of New South Wales.
- To conduct a regular need analysis of cultural centres and identify issues relating to the ongoing development of these centres.
