New exhibition on now!
Which animals have survived the ever-changing Australian landscape? Is it the largest, the fiercest or the toughest? The most intelligent? Or is it the 'adapters' that win the ultimate game of survival?
Discover surprising animal secrets in this new exhibition showcasing stories of Australian wildlife and tales of their adaptation and survival over millions of years of changing climate and landscape. Divided into six thematic areas - Blue Edge, Island Homes, Our Backyard, Dangerous Australians, Adapt or Die and Where are They Now - this new 925 square exhibition will challenge your understanding of the beautiful and bizarre animals that call Australia home.
Australia has it all - deserts and snow-capped mountains, rainforest and grassland, beaches and reefs, city and bush. And living in every one of these habitats are species which are equally varied.
