Sorting fishes
Sorting fishes at Brunswick Heads. View larger image.

The image shows Natasha, Matt, Mark, Tony and John sorting and preserving fishes after a snorkeling collection at Brunswick Heads.

John's right hand was stung by a Fortescue. Anyone who has been stung by this fish will agree that it is particularly painful. John treated the sting by immersing his hand in very hot water that was kindly supplied by a local coffee shop.

Leave the fieldwork site to view the Fortescue fact sheet.
