Charlie Huveneers is a PhD student at Macquarie University, Sydney.

He is currently describing a new species of Wobbegong Shark from eastern Australian waters.

During June and July 2005, he spent six days minutely examining frozen specimens that were temporarily stored at the Australian Museum.

Charlie also examined Wobbegong specimens, including a type, that were sent to the Australian Museum on loan by Jeff Johnson, Fish Collection Manager at the Queensland Museum.
