Miss Greer Howarth is employed by the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry.

Greer is a marine science graduate who is working on a project with the Australian Fisheries Management Authority. This project is the development of a field guide for the target, possible byproduct and bycatch species of the Commonwealth-managed small pelagic fishery.

She is photographing and obtaining data from specimens in the Australian Museum Fish Collection.

Greer arrived at the Australian Museum on 10 November 2003 and will depart on November 12.
