Adel Heenan is a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

She is studying the orientation behaviour of larval coral reef fishes, and the potential to use this behaviour as a reef fisheries management tool. After two months of field work at Lizard Island Research Station, Adel is visiting Jeff Leis at the Australian Museum to work on the larval samples she collected.

Adel visited the Australian Museum from 9 January until 4 February, 2007.
