Dr Barry Russell, Assistant Director Natural Sciences, at the Northern Territory Museum, Darwin is currently working in the Fish Section.

Barry is an expert in the taxonomy of the Threadfin Breams, family Nemipteridae.

During his visit, Barry will be examining Threadfin Breams, lizardfishes and several genera of lutjanoids held in the Australian Museum Fish Collection.

Barry arrived at the Australian Museum on 8 September 2003 and will depart on September 15.
