Leah Williams is an honours student in printmaking at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne. She is also a photography graduate of the National Art School, Sydney.

Leah has had works exhibited in Australia and Japan.

She visited the Australian Museum in order to work in the Spirit House, where she photographed fish specimens for use in her current project ‘Still Life’.

A selection of different fishes (and parts of fishes) were chosen that would make interesting photographic subjects. The bottom image, which shows parts of two cleared and stained fish, is one of many photographs that Leah shot for her project.

Leah visited on 4 April 2006.
