Ornate Wobbegong
Orectolobus ornatus (de Vis, 1883)

Banded Wobbegong jaws
An Ornate Wobbegong jaw from the Australian Museum Fish Collection (AMS I.34439-001). The fish was collected by K. Graham on board the FRV Kapala at a depth of 115 m, off Newcastle, New South Wales, in July 1993.

The anterior teeth of the Ornate Wobbegong are long and pointed like those of the Greynurse Shark. How are they different?
