snails and sea-slugs: molluscs

Doridella

Doridella sp. This is one of a remarkable family of nudibranchs which have evolved to live on lace corals (bryozoans) which are normally found growing on kelp and other large brown sea-weeds. Their white lace-like colour pattern exactly matches the white outline of the bryozoan skeleton (5mm).
