Chromodoris magnifica

Chromodoris magnifica. Known only from tropical north-eastern Australia, New Guinea and adjacent tropical waters, this is an example of the brilliant colour patterns found amongst the chromodorid nudibranchs. These colours may be a warning, alerting fish to the distasteful poisons they carry in skin glands (50mm).
