Late Devonian fauna from the Worange Point Formation near Eden, NSW

Alex Ritchie and Zerina Johanson are also involved in fieldwork near Eden which has so far uncovered two new sarcopterygians, including a member of the Osteolepidae and one closely related to Eusthenodon as well as very large Remigolepis . Recently, Gavin Young noted that his fieldwork in the central part of New South Wales has uncovered 40 new fish sites of Devonian age, so the potential for research on fossil fishes in New South Wales seems unlimited.
